The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Charlotte prepares you for a variety of careers in the food service industry. You’ll get practical experience in state-of-industry kitchens including simulated situations and real-world production applications in our learning restaurant, Artisan, and through internships.
Students get a broad introduction to the many aspects of the food service industry using a learner-centered approach to culinary education. Food production skills are complemented by courses detailing the business of culinary arts, along with general studies, to ensure graduates are able to become valuable employees.

Students in their 6th quarter of study alternate between the kitchen and the front of our learning restaurant, Artisan, which is open to the public for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays when classes are in session.
